On Sept. 10, OPG is launching the Generate Innovation Challenge. This competition invites innovators from across the country — startups, scale-ups, entrepreneurs, academics, scientists and researchers — to submit the best idea, technology, or solution on four core issues underpinning not only OPG’s nuclear challenges but industry challenges as a whole.
Solutions that are successful in the competition will gain access to data and information collected over decades of operational experience, procurement support, access to OPG facilities when required, and the technical expertise from OPG staff needed to develop mature solutions. They will also receive an initial prize of $25,000 and the opportunity to grow and incorporate their solutions into the energy sector with a credible, long-term partner like OPG.
Each webinar will include a short presentation from each business unit supporting one of the four challenges, with an opportunity for audience Q&A throughout.
- Workforce and Planning
- Inspection Automation
- Automated Monitoring
- Data Collection in Constrained Environments
There will be an additional session held on Sept. 11. You need only register for one webinar, but feel free to join us for both.
Who should attend?
- Researchers in the nuclear innovation, cleantech or workforce planning spaces
