Share Your Ideas and Complete The Indigenous Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Survey
The City of Toronto is working with the local Indigenous community to develop the Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICIE).
The purpose of the ICIE is to provide a space and support for Indigenous entrepreneurs looking to build businesses, social enterprises, not-for-profits, collectives or cooperatives. The overall vision is to provide a home for Indigenous entrepreneurs looking to access resources, advisory support and workspace for building their ventures.
We are engaging with Toronto’s Indigenous (First Nation, Métis and Inuit) business community to get your insight and feedback on your needs and what this centre could offer. We are looking for Indigenous startup entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs with operational businesses and other Indigenous business leaders to complete this survey, which will take approximately 20 minutes of your time. Your responses to questions in the survey will help the Pontiac Group with further consultation and planning for the Centre. This survey is completely voluntary. Your responses are confidential, and your name is not required. However, at the end of the survey we will be asking whether you would like to participate in related consultation activities and events that will support development of the ICIE. On November 30th, we will draw one lucky winner for a $50 Gift Certificate to NishDish located at 690 Bloor St W, Toronto. Stay tuned to https://www.facebook.com/indigenousbizTO/ for project updates!
