Theme of the day: Medtech Innovation & Commercialization – Thinking Globally!

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre presents the Sunnybrook Medventions Innovation Day (formerly, Schulich Innovation Research Day).

The morning session, Understanding International Markets, will provide discussions on international and emerging medical devices markets, helping entrepreneurs develop the “get-to-market” strategy to accommodate the rapidly evolving and globalized marketplace. The second morning session, Capturing the Global Market with Canadian Technologies, will present a series of case studies reviewing several made-in-Canada medical technologies, which have gone on to great commercial success internationally, propelling Canada to the forefront of the medical technology space.

The afternoon session, Innovation Resources to Help Canadian Companies Go Global, will provide discussions on various local resources and programs that play an important role in getting Canadian innovations to international markets.

The event is open to industry, academia, clinicians, scientists, and students interested in medical devices innovation and commercialization.

Attendance is free but space is limited. Registration is required.
