Business Plan Coach

Kenny Bahia

Bi-weekly one on one sessions by appointment only

Kenny is a Management Consulting professional with a background in project management and business development. With over 10 years of healthcare sector experience, including strategic planning, proposal development, market analysis and process improvement, he has successfully helped clients achieve desired project outcomes. Having been involved in philanthropic start-ups himself, Kenny understands the hardships entrepreneurs face when starting out. He’s excited to share his experience to help others succeed. When he’s not diving with tiger sharks in the Caribbean Sea, you will find him by a grill experimenting with a mix of exotic flavour profiles.

Kenny will be helping entrepreneurs with their Business Model Canvas and Business Plans on a bi-weekly basis.

Social Enterprise Coach

Marisol Fornoni

How can you turn your personal social experiences into something meaningful?  Can you still make a good living running a social innovation/enterprise?  How do you go about establishing one?  What resources are in the community to help support you?  What legal structure do you need?

In collaboration with the Centre for Social Innovation, startGBC invites you to book time with Marisol Fornoni.  Marisol will be pleased to set up a telephone call with you or arrange an in person meeting at the Centre for Social Innovation.

Marisol has a Masters from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Gender, Development and Globalization. Marisol has worked with non-profits, social enterprises and incubators across the Greater Toronto Area to develop fundraising strategies and roll out development plans that include prospect research, individual giving, major asks, sponsorship and case for support planning. She also passionate about social entrepreneurship. She is currently offering social enterprises one-on-one coaching to start-up their social enterprise and learn more about how to make deep impact.

Much of our work is achieved by matching entrepreneurs and start-ups with mentors that have specific skill sets in topics of interest in creating a functional commercial entity.
